ROLEX: Gentleman's 18ct gold and stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona Chronometer chronograph bracelet watch, circa 2009. Large stainless steel case with polished 18ct yellow gold calibrated tachymetre bezel, gold screw down chronograph pushers and gold Twinlock winding crown, and screw case back, with the original protective plastic stickers in place and with only very light use. Rare factory original lapis-blue dial with applied gold radiating Arabic numeral hour markers, gold and red-ringed subsidiary dials at 3 (30 minute counter), 6 (ordinary seconds) and 9 (12 hour totaliser), signed Daytona in red above the bottom sub-dial. Wide polished gold luminous baton hands and red hands on the counters. Self-winding Rolex calibre 4130 automatic chronograph movement, in perfect working order and covered by the remainder of the Rolex international two year warranty. Fitted with the new model 18ct gold and stainless steel Rolex Oyster solid link bracelet with deployant buckle (the gold runs through the buckle) with locking clasp and extendable "comfort link", with the original protective plastics in situ and only light signs of usage. So-called modern "exotic" Paul Newman dial with champagne background, three black subsidiary dials at 3,6 and 9, (thirty minute counter, ordinary running seconds, and 12 hour totaliser respectively), luminous gold hour markers, and outer red seconds track. Nickel plated Rolex manual wind chronograph movement, recently serviced by Rolex UK (still under warranty). ROLEX: Gentleman's very rare stainless steel Rolex Cosmograph "Paul Newman" Daytona chronograph bracelet watch, circa 1968. Stainless steel case with polished stainless steel bezel, screw down Rolex twin-lock winding crown, "pumper" chronograph pushers, and screw case back, in very fine used condition (the watch has not been over-polished or refinished!). Very rare original black "exotic" dial with three white sub-dials (with concentric circle background): thirty minute counter at 3, twelve hour totaliser at 6, and ordinary running seconds at 9, black outer chapter ring with red printed minute markers, and applied small metal "block" hour markers with luminous dots. Signed Rolex, Cosmograph, Daytona (in red) above the 6 o'clock register, and T-Swiss-T. Polished steel baton hour and minute hands, steel centre seconds chronograph hand with white arrow tip, and white hands on the registers. Nickel plated Rolex cal. 727 jewel lever manual wind movement in perfect working order. Fitted with the later stainless steel solid link Rolex Oyster bracelet (ref. 78350 with 571 end-pieces) with deployant buckle in very fine used condition. This is a very fine example of an original "Paul Newman" Daytona, in unmolested condition. For many collectors, this iconic watch remains the true "Grail"! Large stainless steel case with polished stainless steel bezel, screw down Rolex twin-lock winding crown, "pumper" chronograph pushers, and screw case back, in crisp original used condition (the watch has not been over-polished or refinished!). Silver-white dial with applied metal arrowhead hour markers and applied metal crown at 12 o'clock, black pulsometer scale around the outer edge of the dial, blue telemetre scale, and black minute track. Very small subsidiary dials at 3,6 and 9 (30 minute counter, 12 hour counter, and ordinary running seconds respectively). Polished steel dauphin hour and minute hands, blued steel centre seconds chronograph hand, and blued steel hands on the registers. Signed Rolex, Oyster Chronograph, Anti-Magnetic, and Swiss. Nickel plated Rolex jewel lever manual wind movement in very good working order. Fitted with the stainless steel Rolex Oyster rivet link bracelet with deployant buckle (with the date code 1.57) in very good used condition. Complete with the original green Rolex presentation box.
