ROLEX: Gent's 18ct gold Rolex Rolex Prince "Classic" Chronometer manual wind duo dial "doctor's" strap watch, circa 1936. Oblong rectangular 18ct yellow gold case with polished gold rails either side of the glass, gilt Rolex winding crown, signed and numbered curved snap-on case back, in fine used condition, with no case repairs or filling / soldering. The case back is fully signed and marked inside Rolex 25 World Records (with 18ct gold Glasgow import hallmark for 1936). White metal dial with enamelled hour and minute display at the top of the dial, and large subsidiary seconds display at the bottom, signed Rolex, Prince, Chronometer, and Swiss Made. Oblong nickel plated Rolex calibre 877 Ultra Prima manual wind chronometer movement with original bridge guard and jewels secured in gold chatons, recently serviced and in very good working order. Fitted with a complementary Hirsch brown crocodile strap with a gilt crown buckle. This stylish and elegant Art Deco period watch looks fantastic on the wrist! Off-white metal dial with enamelled hour and minute display at the top of the dial, and large subsidiary seconds display at the bottom. The dial is unsigned, we believe to allow the retailer to put their name on the dial. Oblong nickel plated Rolex calibre 877 Ultra Prima manual wind movement with original bridge guard, in very good working order. Fitted with a complementary Hirsch dark tan leather strap. ROLEX: Gent's rare 18ct gold Rolex Oyster Octagon strap watch, circa 1928. 18ct yellow gold full size octagonal three piece case with soldered strap-lugs, knurled screw-down coin-edge bezel, and flat screw-down coin-edge caseback, in very good condition (very fine surface scratches). Original gilt Oyster Patent screw-down winding crown. Screw case back with Rolex Oyster patents inside, and Glasgow import 18ct gold hallmarks for 1928, with a later engraving on the outside ("To Billy from Joyce March 16th 1942"), and complete with the original lead sealing gasket. Very fine refinished black dial with applied gold hour markers, with subsidiary seconds display at 6 o'clock, and signed Rolex Oyster Chronometer, Swiss Made. Gold alpha hands. Nickel plated Rolex Ultra Prima 15 jewel lever movement, timed to 6 positions, in very good working order. Fitted with a complementary Hirsch leather strap. Rolex Watch Co.) inside with Glasgow 1924 import hallmarks). Ivory coloured sunburst dial with printed Arabic numerals and outer minute track, signed Rolex, Swiss Made. Original blued steel hands.
